I sat in the front row. I was 18. it was the biggest thrill of my life. Carly was GORGEOUS and her and JT together were so adorable. Grahamn Nash was incredible....Nicolette Larson was great too....so many great surprises....Carly was the highlight ! So glad this movie was recorded. So awesome to relive it over and over and over again! Theses were ALL of my favorite singers in their prime. What an amazing ticket!

The record company wouldn't wait for his return so they brought in Michael and skunk baxter to help pat write the record. Tom was there and contributed 2 songs for Taking it to the streets record. They had hit songs on it so Michael was in. Tom could have come back permanently but opted to do some solo projects. After the Doobies broke up they reunited in Hawaii for a Vietnam vets aid concert .They released the Cycles record shortly thereafter and a return to their original style
